About Body-Informed Resiliency

Tackling challenging situations and continuing to find joy takes resiliency. Many people think resiliency is simply a mindset, however, it is also just as much a physiological state as a mental one. Body-Informed Resiliency harnesses the physiological aspects of building resiliency.

This is done through finding equilibrium between your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Equilibrium is achieved by toning your vagal nerve – the longest and most complex of the 12 pairs of cranial nerves in the brain. It transmits information to or from the brain’s surface to tissues and organs elsewhere in the body.
